1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Axis37 (“Axis37,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit axis37.com and any related subdomains or pages (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
This policy covers the public Site only. It does not cover information processed under a separate signed engagement agreement, master services agreement, or contractor relationship.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
Information you provide. When you contact us, request a Search Checkup, request a sample Recommendation Report, complete a form, or send us email, we may collect your name, business email, company name, website URL, market, role, and any notes or attachments you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site we and our service providers may receive technical information needed to deliver the Site, including IP address, browser type, and request details. When analytics is allowed, we record a narrow set of events: page context, selected calls to action, form state, and bounded campaign source fields. We do not send form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or arbitrary URL query values to analytics. Analytics events may also carry an approximate region — country and state or province — derived from the connection at the time of the request. The IP address used for that derivation is processed transiently to serve the request and is not stored with analytics data.
Information from third parties. We may receive information from analytics providers, lead-routing tools, and business directories (for example, public business records about an operator’s company).
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to inquiries and prepare diagnostics, audits, and proposals;
- Deliver the Search Checkup, sample Recommendation Report, and similar requested materials;
- Send service updates, newsletters, and other commercial email you have requested or that is permitted by law;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
- Measure traffic, attribution, and content performance;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations, defend legal claims, and enforce our agreements.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information only as described here:
Service providers. We use vendors to host the Site, send email, run analytics, track conversions, manage forms, store files, and run diagnostics. These providers process information only to perform services for us.
Analytics providers. When site analytics is active, we use PostHog for bounded measurement and Google Analytics (GA4) for site-traffic measurement. PostHog receives anonymous browser and session identifiers, the governed event fields described above, and network information needed to receive the request, through axis37.com. Google Analytics receives page-view measurement from the browser. We do not use this data for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 6 for the browser control.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property, safety, or to enforce our terms.
Business transfers. If Axis37 is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
The Site uses local browser storage to remember your analytics choice and, when analytics is allowed, to preserve bounded first-touch and last-touch source context. PostHog may store anonymous identifiers needed to keep visits and sessions coherent. Axis37 does not run advertising cookies on the Site in this implementation.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. The Site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing under applicable state law. The Site does not separately respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because there is no consistent industry standard for them.
6. Analytics and advertising
When site analytics is active, we use PostHog to measure the public buyer path and Google Analytics (GA4) to measure page traffic. Automatic click collection, session replay, surveys, broad person profiles, and automatic exception capture are off in PostHog. Axis37 records only the governed page, source, CTA, and form-state events described in this policy to PostHog. A successful inquiry is recorded by the server; the browser does not claim a second conversion. PostHog events are sent through axis37.com and relayed, rather than sent to PostHog directly from your browser. Google Analytics is loaded from Google and receives page measurement from the browser. The same analytics choice and GPC signal govern both.
The control below takes effect on this browser. Turning analytics off stops later capture, clears the current anonymous analytics identity, and remains in effect after reload. It does not erase events sent before the choice changed. You can also send Global Privacy Control through a supported browser or extension. GPC keeps analytics off even if this browser previously allowed it.

7. Email communications
If you give us your email address we may send commercial messages consistent with the federal CAN-SPAM Act and applicable state law. Every commercial email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at unsubscribe@axis37.com to be removed from marketing email. We may continue to send transactional or relationship messages (for example, replies to your inquiry) regardless of marketing preferences.
8. Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, to enforce our agreements, or to resolve disputes. Inquiry data is typically retained for the duration of the prospect relationship plus a reasonable follow-up window. Analytics data is retained within the configured PostHog retention window. When information is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymized.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information we hold from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No system is perfectly secure, no internet transmission is fully protected, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you transmit to us. You provide information at your own risk.
10. California residents — CCPA / CPRA rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) gives you the following rights, subject to verification and legal exceptions:
- Right to know the categories of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business or commercial purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it;
- Right to access a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
- Right to delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions;
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, including cross-context behavioral advertising;
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information;
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
Categories of personal information collected in the prior 12 months: identifiers (name, email, IP address, online identifiers); commercial information (services requested); internet/network activity (governed page, CTA, source, and form-state events); general location data (approximate region — country and state — derived from network information); and professional information (company and role).
Sources: directly from you; automatically from your device; and from service providers and our analytics provider.
Purposes: as described in Section 3.
Recipients: as described in Section 4.
To exercise a right, email privacy@axis37.com and describe the right you want to exercise. We will verify your identity using information already in our records. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with written authorization.
Do Not Sell or Share my Personal Information. You can use the browser control in Section 6, email the request above, or transmit an opt-out preference signal such as GPC through a supported browser or extension.
11. Other US state rights
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights (access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out of targeted advertising). Use the contact path in Section 10 to exercise them.
12. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites, tools, platforms, operators, or sources. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or privacy policies of those third parties. Review their policies before sharing information with them.
14. International users
The Site is operated from the United States and intended for users in the United States. Information you provide is processed in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your home country.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
